Manus is a general AI agent that completes multi-step tasks for you. Add iHatePosting to it once as a custom MCP connector, then name it in a task and Manus can draft, schedule and publish posts to 15 networks as part of the work.
How do I connect iHatePosting to Manus?
It takes about a minute. Nothing here needs a download, and the only thing you carry between the two apps is a key you can revoke whenever you like.
- 1Step 1
Create an iHatePosting API key
Sign in, open Settings → Developers and create a key. It starts with pk_live_, and the same page can show it again whenever you need it.
- 2Step 2
Add iHatePosting to Manus
Paste this URL as the Server URL in Manus → Connectors → Create → Add MCP by URL, with a name such as iHatePosting, then select Save. Manus's custom MCP guide describes the same form under Settings → Integrations → Custom MCP Servers → Add Server, so use whichever your account shows. If the form asks for authentication you can leave it empty, because the key is in the URL. Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your key.

Ask it to post
Tell Manus what you want to say and where. It saves a draft in iHatePosting unless you ask for the post to go out now or at a set time.
What is different about Manus
Every client reaches the same server, and then behaves like itself. These are the things that are true here and not somewhere else.
Manus's own pages name two menus for the same form. The connectors page says Connectors, then Create, then Add MCP by URL; its custom MCP guide says Settings, then Integrations, then Custom MCP Servers, then Add Server. Use whichever your account shows. Either way you enter a name and the server URL.
The URL on this page contains your key, so treat it like a password: do not paste it into a chat or share a screenshot of it. Regenerating the key in iHatePosting stops the old URL working at once, and every other tool using that key has to be given the new one.
Manus connects to servers over HTTPS only and cannot run a local server on your machine. iHatePosting's server is hosted, so there is nothing to install or keep running.
Once the connector is saved, name iHatePosting in the task, for example "Use iHatePosting to draft a LinkedIn post and schedule it for Tuesday at 9am". Manus's guide says custom tools are referred to in prompts the same way as its built-in connectors.
Say what you want done with the post: save a draft, schedule it, or publish it now. Ask for drafts first if you want to read a post before it goes anywhere.
Limits. Manus's pages do not say which plans can add a custom connector, so check your plan if the option is missing. We have not run this end to end inside a Manus account; the steps follow Manus's own connector and custom MCP pages.

Nothing goes out unless you say so
Every post Manus writes is saved as a draft in iHatePosting unless you ask for it to be published now or at a set time. Publishing, rescheduling, retrying and deleting are marked as actions that change things, so clients that honour those markings ask you before they run them. Deleting a post in iHatePosting never removes one that is already live on a network.
What is the iHatePosting MCP?
MCP — the Model Context Protocol — is the standard way an assistant plugs into an app it does not own. Our server exposes the accounts you have connected to Manus as tools, so it can draft, check and schedule without you opening a dashboard.
How Manus uses it
- You add the connector once — by signing in, or with a key you create
- Manus reads which accounts you have connected, and each network's rules
- It writes a version per network and checks it against those rules before sending
- It saves a draft, schedules it, or publishes — exactly as your message said
- It works alongside whatever other tools Manus already has

What does it cost?
The connector costs nothing on top of iHatePosting. iHatePosting has one plan: $15/month billed annually, or $19/month billed monthly, with unlimited social accounts. It is free for 90 days, no credit card needed, and everything is included during the trial: unlimited accounts, unlimited posts, every feature.
How is access secured?
Either you sign in to iHatePosting and approve access, or you create an API key in Settings → Developers. That page can show your key again whenever you need it. Whichever route you take, it reaches only the accounts you have already connected, and you can revoke it at any time without touching the accounts themselves.
Something not working?
- It cannot see any accounts: connect them in iHatePosting first, then ask it to list them again.
- You regenerated your key and it still fails: Regenerate revokes the old key the moment you press it, and a client that is already running keeps sending the old one until you genuinely restart it.
- A post failed: open it in iHatePosting — the failure names the network and repeats what that network actually said.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I add iHatePosting in Manus?
Open Connectors, choose Create, then Add MCP by URL, give it a name and paste the URL from this page as the Server URL. Manus's custom MCP guide describes the same form under Settings, Integrations, Custom MCP Servers, Add Server, so use whichever screen your account shows.
Do I need to add an API key in Manus?
No. The key is already in the URL on this page, so leave the authentication field empty if the form shows one. Because the URL holds the key, keep it private and regenerate the key in iHatePosting if it ever leaks.
Can Manus publish without asking me?
Only if you tell it to. Say in the task whether you want a draft, a scheduled post or a post published now, and ask for drafts when you want to review first.
Is Manus the same as Cue?
No. Both come from the Manus team, but Manus is the general agent you hand tasks to, and Cue is a separate app for personal agents. iHatePosting has a page for each.
Is the Manus connector free?
Yes. The connector costs nothing on top of iHatePosting, and iHatePosting is free for 90 days, no credit card needed. After that it is $15/month billed annually, or $19 month-to-month, with unlimited accounts.
Which networks can Manus post to?
Any account you have connected in iHatePosting, across 15 networks: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Tumblr and Google Business Profile.
Can Manus schedule posts for a specific date and time?
Yes. Put the date and time in the prompt — for example "schedule this for Friday at 9:00 AM" — and Manus schedules the post for then. iHatePosting reads the time in your account's timezone, and you can ask Manus to move a scheduled post to a new time.
Manus vs Cue: which page do you need?
Manus makes both, and iHatePosting works with both of them. This page is for Manus. Pick the one you actually type into — the setup differs, and the wrong page will have you pasting a key in a place that has no box for it.
