Cue is a standalone app from the Manus team for personal agents, each with its own email address, phone number, wallet and computer. Give the agent that runs your social media an iHatePosting connector and it can draft, schedule and publish posts to 15 networks, including on a routine.
How do I connect iHatePosting to Cue?
It takes about a minute. Nothing here needs a download, and the only thing you carry between the two apps is a key you can revoke whenever you like.
- 1Step 1
Create an iHatePosting API key
Sign in, open Settings → Developers and create a key. It starts with pk_live_, and the same page can show it again whenever you need it.
- 2Step 2
Add iHatePosting to Cue
Paste this URL as the server URL of a custom MCP connector in Cue's connectors. If the form asks for authentication you can leave it empty, because the key is in the URL. Cue comes from the Manus team, so these are the Manus steps; we have not been able to run them inside Cue, and if your connectors screen looks different, follow the Manus page. Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your key.
Cue — connectorhttps://ihateposting.com/mcp?key=YOUR_API_KEY&client=cue - 3Step 3
Ask it to post
Tell Cue what you want to say and where. It saves a draft in iHatePosting unless you ask for the post to go out now or at a set time.
What is different about Cue
Every client reaches the same server, and then behaves like itself. These are the things that are true here and not somewhere else.
Cue comes from the same team as Manus, so the setup follows Manus's custom connector form: add a custom MCP connector, paste the URL on this page as the server URL, and save. Our Manus page has the steps checked against Manus's own pages.
The URL on this page contains your key, so treat it like a password: keep it out of chats and screenshots. Regenerating the key in iHatePosting stops the old URL working at once, and any other tool using that key has to be given the new one.
Give the connector only to the agent that runs your social media. A Cue agent keeps working after you log off, so decide in Cue which actions need your approval and tell the agent whether you want drafts, scheduled posts or posts published now.
A routine is the natural fit for recurring posts, for example "Every Monday at 9am, draft this week's posts and send me the plan before anything is scheduled". Cue decides when the agent works; iHatePosting decides when each post goes out.
Limits. Cue launched in late September 2026 and is in early access with an invite code. We have not been able to run these steps inside Cue and found no Cue page about custom connectors, so they follow the Manus form. If your connectors screen looks different, tell us on the contact page and use the Manus page as the guide.
Nothing goes out unless you say so
Every post Cue writes is saved as a draft in iHatePosting unless you ask for it to be published now or at a set time. Publishing, rescheduling, retrying and deleting are marked as actions that change things, so clients that honour those markings ask you before they run them. Deleting a post in iHatePosting never removes one that is already live on a network.
What is the iHatePosting MCP?
MCP — the Model Context Protocol — is the standard way an assistant plugs into an app it does not own. Our server exposes the accounts you have connected to Cue as tools, so it can draft, check and schedule without you opening a dashboard.
How Cue uses it
- You add the connector once — by signing in, or with a key you create
- Cue reads which accounts you have connected, and each network's rules
- It writes a version per network and checks it against those rules before sending
- It saves a draft, schedules it, or publishes — exactly as your message said
- It works alongside whatever other tools Cue already has

What does it cost?
The connector costs nothing on top of iHatePosting. iHatePosting has one plan: $15/month billed annually, or $19/month billed monthly, with unlimited social accounts. It is free for 90 days, no credit card needed, and everything is included during the trial: unlimited accounts, unlimited posts, every feature.
How is access secured?
Either you sign in to iHatePosting and approve access, or you create an API key in Settings → Developers. That page can show your key again whenever you need it. Whichever route you take, it reaches only the accounts you have already connected, and you can revoke it at any time without touching the accounts themselves.
Something not working?
- It cannot see any accounts: connect them in iHatePosting first, then ask it to list them again.
- You regenerated your key and it still fails: Regenerate revokes the old key the moment you press it, and a client that is already running keeps sending the old one until you genuinely restart it.
- A post failed: open it in iHatePosting — the failure names the network and repeats what that network actually said.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add iHatePosting to Cue?
In Cue's connectors, add a custom MCP connector and paste the URL from this page as the server URL. If the form asks for authentication you can leave it empty, because the key is in the URL. Cue is in early access and we have not run these steps inside it, so follow the Manus page if your screen differs.
Is Cue the same as Manus?
No. Both come from the Manus team, but Cue is a separate app for personal agents that each have their own email address, phone number, wallet and computer. Manus is the general agent you hand tasks to.
Can a Cue agent post on a schedule?
Yes, in two ways. A Cue routine decides when the agent works, and iHatePosting holds each post in your calendar and publishes it at its time. Ask the agent for drafts first if you want to approve a plan before anything is scheduled.
Is the Cue connector free?
Yes. The connector costs nothing on top of iHatePosting, and iHatePosting is free for 90 days, no credit card needed. After that it is $15/month billed annually, or $19 month-to-month, with unlimited accounts.
Which networks can Cue post to?
Any account you have connected in iHatePosting, across 15 networks: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Tumblr and Google Business Profile.
Can Cue schedule posts for a specific date and time?
Yes. Put the date and time in the prompt — for example "schedule this for Friday at 9:00 AM" — and Cue schedules the post for then. iHatePosting reads the time in your account's timezone, and you can ask Cue to move a scheduled post to a new time.
Cue vs Manus: which page do you need?
Manus makes both, and iHatePosting works with both of them. This page is for Cue. Pick the one you actually type into — the setup differs, and the wrong page will have you pasting a key in a place that has no box for it.
